Deleting a directory is possible if you no longer wish to have it up but a note of caution... it will cost you credits. Reason why is because people contribute to directories and they get rewards for their posts. Another reason is you initially get credits for creating a directory so it makes perfect sense to charge a fee for deletion. If you don't have enough credits to delete you will not be able to delete however you are allowed to deactivate them for free of charge.
