MagBot is meta tag robot which can scan specific pages or all pages on your site while gathering all internal and outbound links at same time. This innovative tool means great news for people who depend on search engines for traffic. MagBot allows you to pinpoint specific pages and specific content from you site allowing better & faster page indexing then normal search engines. No more will you have to wait for your pages to go live in search engine results!
Is MagBot free?
Absolutly 100% free! MagBot is for anyone who wants to effectivly list their site and allow others to view high quality search results for your website submission. Other places make you wait weeks or require money or an editor; skip those hassles, save your money and submit with MagBot for free!
How does MagBot work?
MagBot works by you simply entering the URL to a page on your site. MagBot only gathers meta tag information so be sure you have meta tags on your site and also be sure your metas contain good titles, descriptions, and keywords. MagBot also gathers every single link (Internal & Outbound) on the page you submit. After submiting your page all the links displayed are links added to Magnum Directory. However it's important to note that the links listed will NOT be scanned automatically you must scan each page seperatly.
What types of submissions can you do with MagBot?
There are two specific versions of MagBot: Single Page Scan or Site Wide Scan. There are no limits to what content you can submit so feel free to submit your sites! Keep in mind that MagBot was build for allowing people to not only submit their main index url but also submit any subpage within their site.
Why isn't my MagBot submission working?
The main problems likely to occurr during a MagBot submission are the following:
- Invalid URL:
- Be sure the URL you enter is correct. MagBot preformats URL's if you leave out the beginning address.
- Invalid Meta Tags:
- Either the site you entered has no meta information or your metas are inncorrectly coded. Below are details on how to code them properly in order for MagBot to work right:
<title>Your page title goes here</title>
<meta name="description" content="Your page description goes here">
<meta name="keywords" content="Your page keywords go here seperated by commas">
Is there a tool I can put on my site for MagBot where people can click and share my sites links?
Yes, below is code for you to put on your site on any page you want to scan. When someone clicks this icon it will scan that page and all the links on it! This is probably the fastest and best way to index links fast.
How can I get the best results off my search engine submission?
The best way to get results on your submissions is you use different titles, descriptions, and keywords on all your pages. This will greatly increase your sites visibility when someone searches terms on Magnum Directory. The worst thing to do is have horrible metas in place this will result in weak traffic and will not rank as well in our search.
Does MagBot scan my sites pages automatically like other bots?
No. MagBot only scans what you submit. There are many reasons for this. For one, Magnum Directory does not have the money nor server capibilities to do such thing. It might be available in the future. Another reason why it is not automatic is this enables you to submit your page live and instantly instead of waiting for a bot to get around to your site. Regardless, MagBot is completely unique it was build for the users in mind giving them complete control over their results.
Can I edit my MagBot submission results?
Yes but you need an account and the site your submiting must be linked to your account. We allow you to alter many things for your page submissions including: titles, description, keywords, category, filter, picture and more!
Do I have to be logged in in order to submit with MagBot?
No. MagBot was made to allow anyone to add pages to any site on the web! If the site already exists on Magnum Directory the page will be automatically preformated to the sites category, picture, filter, etc...
Who made MagBot and why?
I (Sean Datz) made MagBot all by myself. The purpose and intent is to give the underground web a chance to get indexed faster and better in search results then on major search engines. It's a shame to be ignored in results and to be pushed back behind millions of results so the purpose is to give the less popular people on the web a portal to help boost their results and give them the exposure they deserve.
If you like MagBot please help support it by spreading the word on the web and or linking us on your site. Also if you are generous enough please help donate to Magnum Directory if you got any money to spare. Thanks and hope you enjoy this service!
