I'm glad to announce that MagBot will be here very shortly! Earliest expected launch date is February 2010.
For those of you who don't know what MagBot is it is Magnum Directory's bot/spider. However, it is not like other bots and below is a overview of its functionality:
- Single Page & Multi-Page Indexing
- DOES NOT scan and add all all of your pages content, instead it gathers meta tags (title, description, tags) and all links on the page.
- Tracks all inbound and outbound links on each page.
- Allows you to rescan and update your page entries instantly with the option to override previous data or keep existing data.
Can't wait to launch it, I'm sure it will help everyone a ton with their sites!

It's going pretty good, I got two major fixes I have to do to it first before I make it live.

Running a bit behind schedule but I would much rather have it delayed for a bit then run into a few problems. So should be here soon...
